Immune by Floria Sigismondi

Floria Sigismondi is a multi-disciplinary artist whose photography, videos, films and sculptures have had a major impact on contemporary visual culture.Immune features a remarkable blend of new photos including previously unreleased stills from the prize-winning video clips she has created for music acts including Christina Aguilera, the Cure, Incubus, Björk, Leonard Cohen and the Living Things. These are complimented by more personal artistic images and self-portraits.

Joy Division

As you may know, Deborah Curtis decided to give the go-ahead for the Joy Division movie about 4 years or so, and its still in the works *they started production the summer of this year*. They are casting Jude Law as Ian Curtis and Samantha Morton as Deborah.
Its going to be called CONTROL, and its about the last few months of Ian's short-lived life.
This decision came after getting good feedback from the book she released about him called Touching From A Distance.

They are going to release 2 cds for the film. One with original Joy Division songs, and another with artists covering them. U2, Marilyn Manson, Kraftwerk, The Smiths and Doves are some of the musicians that they asked to do the covers. Only Kraftwerk has said no so far.

There's another book coming out called Torn Apart. Its due to be published in 2006.
